1. Ensure Your Plug Has Received Power
If you’re having issues connecting your Amysen Smart Plug to Wi-Fi, the first step to fix this is to confirm that your plug has received power and is in pairing mode.
So check the wall outlet where you plugged your Amysen Smart Plug and ensure that it’s turned on. If your plug has received power, you’ll see a rapidly flashing light on the LED indicator and this also shows it’s in pairing mode.
If you don’t see any light on the plug, press and hold the Power button for about 5 seconds until you see the LED indicator flashing rapidly.
Now try to connect your Plug to your home Wi-Fi again to see if it works. Did it work? Excellent! But if not, see the next troubleshooting step.
2. Check Your Wi-Fi Bandwidth
Another reason you may experience Wi-Fi connectivity issues with your Amysen Smart Plug is when you are trying to connect to an unsupported Wi-Fi network.
The plug only supports the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network band. So if your router is set to run on a dual-band or 5GHz band, chances are the connection will fail. So head over to your router and set the network band to only use the 2.4GHz network.
If you’re not sure how to do this, refer to your router’s user manual for instructions.
If you’re still not able to connect to your home Wi-Fi network, continue to the next troubleshooting step.
3. Check Wi-Fi Network and Password

4. Reset Your Router

5. Factory Reset Your Amysen Smart Plug

To reset your Amysen Smart Plug, press and hold the Power button (for about 5–10 seconds) until the LED indicator blinks rapidly. This should reset your plug and possibly fix the Wi-Fi connection issues.
