- Tap the Plus (+) icon in the top right corner of the home screen. Alternatively, you can scroll down and tap “Add Device”.
- Tap the “Socket” icon in the app. Next, the app will ask you to confirm that your plug is blinking rapidly (showing it’s in pairing mode).
- If it’s blinking rapidly, tap the confirmation message on the screen. If it’s not blinking, long-press the power button for a few seconds—until it blinks before you tap the confirmation message.

Closing Thoughts
While some Smart Plugs or Apps allow users to change the Wi-Fi connection within the app, a lot of them (such as Teckin plug) do not have this option.
So, a simple and quick way to change the Wi-Fi network on your Teckin Smart Plug is to reset the plug. Then set it up again and connect to a new Wi-Fi network.
However, this method will remove all your previous settings, so you’ll have to set up the plug again after the reset. For instance, if your Smart Plug was connected to Alexa, Google Home, HomeKit, etc., you’ll have to set all of these up again after the reset.
